Live, Virtual Caregiver Support Sessions
Beginning in March 2023, we’re offering live, one-hour virtual support sessions twice per month, moderated by Marissa Gilbert, LMSW, a social worker and cancer survivor.
The burdens of caregiving are challenging and, often times, caregivers don’t get support to help them through the ups and downs of providing care for their loved one with cancer. These live, one-hour virtual sessions will provide a safe space to exchange support, tips and guidance for caregivers and cancer patients.
Topics may include: navigating the medical system and communicating with your medical provider, finding a balance between providing care for yourself and your loved one, and accessing mental health and self-care resources.
Caregivers only
• First Tuesday of every month, 7 p.m. ET
Combined caregivers and male cancer patients and survivors
• Last Tuesday of every month, 7 p.m. ET
